Vietnamese government decided to set up under the Ministry of Health Anti-Smoking Foundation

Tobacco According to the “Tobacco” report compiled according to Vietnam Plus the one reported that the Vietnamese government has decided a foundation under the Ministry of Health for the control and prevention of tobacco hazards.

The Foundation will operate on a nonprofit basis, from the “dangers of tobacco prevention and control” method for control.

The Foundation will initially expected to use test mode, sponsoring a series of activities, such as dissemination of information about adverse effects of tobacco, as well as the implementation of smoke-free workplaces projects.

The Foundation will organize the provision of smoking areas in public places activities and sponsored the establishment of community service to help smokers quit.

The Foundation is forced tobacco manufacturers and importers to pay the money, as well as national and international organizations in Vietnam and individuals donated funds to establish.
